Interesting forest fungi

Went hiking in the forest with Papa and found these cool mushrooms. Don't eat them!

Max

Here is my classmate Max. He is the first boy to ever leave flowers for me. He put them in our newspaper tube on the front porch one day, rang the bell a little and then rode away on his bike. He had ridden several kilometers to find our house. I guess he likes me. Papa says he wants to see Max's investment portfolio, whatever that is.

We're scientists, we discover things!

While we were playing at being paleontologists we found this real bone, I think it was a leg bone from a deer. When I see things like this I pull my hands inside my sleeves 'cause it's kinda gross.

I also found an interesting rock, but later we decided it was only a little bit of leftover concrete from when they made the little bridge, so I threw it in the water. A scientist can do that, too.
